Where your experience could fit
Low-voltage careers in Dallas–Fort Worth
Tell us which area best matches your experience. These descriptions explain the kinds of work behind our commercial projects—not a list of guaranteed vacancies. Choosing an area below simply preselects it in the career-interest form.
Low-voltage technician
Describe your work with commercial cable runs, pathways, patch panels, terminations and labeling. Include the cable types and testing tasks you have handled, and distinguish work completed independently from work performed under supervision.
Introduce your cabling experience →Access-control technician
Tell us about reader cabling, door contacts, panels and approved lock-interface work you have supported. Identify relevant training and qualifications by name. Any required authorization for a particular assignment must be verified before that work begins.
Introduce your access-control experience →BAS / controls technician
Share your field experience with control panels, sensors, actuators, wiring diagrams and integrator-led checkout. Our current service focus is field installation. Describe programming or specialist experience separately without assuming every project includes it.
Introduce your controls experience →Project manager
Explain your experience coordinating crews, schedules, materials, field changes and closeout. Useful examples show how you kept installation responsibilities clear and communicated with contractors, systems providers or facility teams.
Introduce your project experience →Field crew / installer
Tell us about your installation background, tools you have used, ability to follow drawings and experience working alongside other trades. Newer candidates can explain related hands-on work and what they would need to learn.
Introduce your installation experience →Other ways to contribute
Have relevant estimating, coordination or another commercial-project skill? Select Other role and explain how your experience relates to our work. Sending an introduction does not create a position or establish an employment arrangement.
Tell us what you do best →Before making plans: compensation, benefits, work schedule, employment arrangement, project location and any required qualifications must be confirmed for an actual opportunity. None is promised by this general career-interest page.
The work behind the building
Bring care to the details.
Our projects depend on people who can follow the agreed scope, communicate field questions and leave organized work for the next team. We value practical examples of how you approach those responsibilities, not just a list of titles.
Work carefully
Follow site instructions and the responsibilities assigned to you. Raise unclear conditions before proceeding. Describe the work you can perform and the supervision or instruction needed for tasks outside your experience.
Communicate clearly
Be specific about progress, material needs and questions. Project teams rely on timely information when access, drawings or schedules change. Tell us about a situation where clear communication helped you avoid rework.
Finish with a useful handoff
Labels, records, cleanup and punch-list items matter alongside installation. Share examples of how you organized your work and helped the receiving team understand what was completed and what still required attention.

Questions about careers at TACS
Understand what this page offers and what still needs to be confirmed for a particular opportunity.
Are these currently open jobs?
The cards describe areas of work, not confirmed vacancies. This page accepts general expressions of interest for TACS to consider when a relevant need arises. A specific opportunity requires separate confirmation of the position, location, qualifications and terms.
Do I need a resume to introduce myself?
No. You can describe your experience directly in the form. A resume PDF or HTTPS portfolio link is optional. Focus on the installations, responsibilities and training relevant to your chosen area, and avoid uploading documents containing unnecessary personal information.
Can I express interest if I am new to low-voltage work?
Yes. Select Field crew / installer or Other role and explain related hands-on experience and what you want to learn. This does not promise a trainee vacancy, paid training or a formal apprenticeship. Any required skills, qualifications and supervision depend on the role.
Where would the work be based?
TACS is based in McKinney and supports commercial projects across Dallas–Fort Worth. Actual reporting locations, travel, work windows and schedules depend on the assignment and must be confirmed before you accept it. This page does not advertise remote positions or guaranteed work in a particular city.
What are the pay, benefits and employment arrangements?
They are not specified by this general-interest page. Request the compensation, benefits if any, expected schedule, work location and employment arrangement for the actual role under discussion. Do not treat a website submission or an informal conversation as an offer.
Will I receive an interview or a response by a certain date?
No interview, placement or response deadline is guaranteed. A receipt means the form was received. TACS may contact you when there is a relevant need. If receipt is unclear, keep the page open and use the same form’s retry option rather than sending a duplicate.
